Democracy Day

I am so personally grateful for the thousands of friends who worked, gave, and encouraged me.

We've done all that we can and are confident about the result. Now it's up to you!

To all registered Democrats, please vote today. With predictions of an historically low turnout in the Runoff, your vote will therefore be unusually important.

Our concluding message was best summarized by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in his final phone call yesterday to registered Democrats:

"My family has fought for expanding health care and human rights for all. And a friend of ours who's always stood with us in our many battles for economic and legal justice has been Mark Green. He was our first Public Advocate and is now running to be our next one.

"Because he has so successfully taken on big interests for consumers and taxpayers, I don't know anyone better who has earned our trust for this office than Mark. We need a proven advocate as THE Public Advocate."

To our Jewish friends and family, we hope you had a good New Year and an easy fast.

And to all, again, participate today to make a difference for yourself, your family, our City and our Democracy.
